Amazing service and even better food! The beer cheese is to die for & the wings were great, but I’d recommend a little more spice for the buffalo. Other than that, fantastic experience! Glen was very kind and a great conversationalist. 10/10 would recommend.

I've visited a handful of times and every time I'm left disappointed. The beer is not good. Perhaps they should focus on mastering a few styles instead of boasting such a large selection.

We were greeted when we walked in and the staff was very attentive. We ordered some wings as an appetizer and then have the fish and chips for lunch. It was a lot of food so definitely could have been something to people might split. Great food great staff great atmosphere. I definitely will be back.

I had a wonderful time at this place at least once a week. Its my favorite watering hole and has good beer for good price. And the waitress jess will make sure you are taken care 😃 im always satisfied

Well I’m at the kc brew fest and the attendant at the kiosk was amazing she had immense knowledge of the beers and she was the only one cleaned our cups before pouring their products. Love em

Been going to Calibration since moving here almost 2yrs ago. The owner is always willing to suggest beers. New staff and they are on it. The bartender is fast and efficient and the kitchen is fantastic. Definitely keeping this as a regular brewery.

Very friendly and laid back place! Every beer I tried was great and there was a wide selection. The food was good too!

My friends and I have been to this place a couple times. Each time we go the manager is always awkwardly standing behind the bar telling the servers how to do their job and to "shorten" their pours. If he's not behind the bar, he's AT the bar drinking and talking to customers who are just trying to enjoy their time out. Asked around about this place-turns out their own neighbors don't like them there. I read the reviews before I went, including the ones the owner calls "fake." After going I realize the bad ones are ALL true.

A great place for a meal and a brew. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and had a great meal. We met the owner and very much enjoyed talking to him. Will be back even though we live 3+ hours away.

We are very regular craft beer drinkers and have been to more local breweries around the country than we can even keep track of. This brewery is not one we'd return to. It wasn't offensive at all, and we understand why some locals may love it. It just wasn't up to our craft beer standards or foodie preferences.The server was super cheerful and effective, but she was obviously short handed. Her service wasn't at all a problem, but it was definitely the pace and style that lends to casual dining when your main concern is beer before food. We didn't like most of the food we ordered because of (what we imagine was) a fryer issue where it seems the fryer wasn't quite up to temperature, leaving the food soaked with grease rather than crispy and fresh tasting. Maybe we caught the kitchen on a bad day. Pretty decent seasoning, just poor execution.What we did like was the onion straws (ordered 2 portions!) and the pretzels with beer cheese. We also liked the seasonal sour and golden ale.

This is a (hidden) gem, which now, with the 169 HWY bridge closing and traffic diverted through HWY 9, is within easy reach for commuters and locals.Unique and original interior with smooth varnished slices of tree trunks wood for bar tables, mounted on sturdy pipe legs. The walls were also original in stone. The 7-8 bbl brew house was shiny and clean and visible through the window. There was an outside patio too.The beer selection is good and honest. I had a fly of 5 beers and they all tasted good.Oct 2018: The food menu has evolved as the owner had promised, and in this 3rd visit I was surprised by the choices and quality of the food items offered. So now CB is elevated to the status of a brewpub with good, chef designed dishes that are higher quality and taste good.I recommend the nitrogen-'carbonated' Scotish Ale with the nice stable and creamy head. Nice touch CB !

Great company, fantastic beers. Spoke with the owner and chef. Chef asked for menu input. Wouldn't change a thing.

I was driving through and stopped here for a beer with my sister and brother-in law. We ordered the nachos and croquettes to eat. They were delicious and made from scratch. I ordered extra cheese for the nachos, which was made from the brewery’s own beer. The owner, Clint, names all of the brews after his favorite songs. We tried several beers and all of them were delicious! My favorites were the Hefeweizen and the Belgian beer. The scotch ale is the flagship of the brews, and delicious! I can’t say enough good things about this place! They had live jazz music, which was fabulous! The service was wonderful and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The venue is super cute with a fireplace, and seating outside when it’s warmer. Would love for this place to start distributing beers to MN so I can have them there :)

Bartender (if you can call them that) had very little knowledge of the menu and took more than 5 minutes to acknowledge us, on a Thursday night. The outfit of the bartender was very 'laid back eccentric' for a lack of better terms. The music was off for the crowd. I'm younger but the crowd here is definitely more 40+, and the music playing was deep house?

I was very impressed with my experience here. They have a wide selection of great beer and foods to choose from, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect place to take friends. The staff was attentive and extremely helpful. I felt like I was bombarding my poor server with so many questions but she handled it with such grace and knowledge... You rock, Jess! My girlfriends and I will definitely be back soon!

Delicious Ciders! This is smaller bar and really low key. It is cozy like a nice Cafe. All of the tables are handmade by the owner and there is an area for a band. This is more my type of place, I don’t like the rowdy, drunk scene. There’s obvious pride here and it leaves you with a happy feeling, or is that just ‘A Strange Boy’ I’m feeling🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 which is a Coconut, Passion Fruit cider! It’s reminiscent of a tropical champagne. This is my favorite spot in the Kansas City Tap Tour, thus far!

Great place to pop in during the week. Chill atmosphere, a few TVs and a wall of food beer. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They have a good menu with good options to pair with beer! Their patio and living room area with the wood stove are intimate and good spots to relax! I’ll be back for sure!

Really great tasting beers. We had "Let It Flow" which had lots of flavor and "I Never Knew You" which is a raspberry cider. Also very good. First time here and will be back.Wish I had taken a pic of the perfect poor. Read review complaining about foam and ours was perfect.

Great experience! It's RARE for me to enjoy all 5 beers in a flight, but I certainly did here! The atmosphere was inviting, and bartender was friendly and attentive! Didn't try the food, as we already had dinner plans, but will be coming back!

My husband brews beer on his own, and we have visited breweries all over the world. Our visit was quite disappointing. We ordered two flights (10beers) from their menu, and 8 of the 10 beers all had the same chemical type taste. My husband describes it like they aren’t thoroughly rinsing the cleaning agent out of their tanks after cleaning them. I was genuinely hoping to find a new favorite place, as we are locals, but left very disappointed. The “Why you Can’t Behave” coffee porter, and the “Some kind of wonderful” Hefeweizen were drinkable. I hope your experience is better than ours. With so many other breweries to choose from locally, we won’t be back unless it’s to sample the food. We heard from other reviews that the food was pretty good. Cheers!

Stopped in today with a couple of friends for a beer and a bite. Super comfortable place. I had the pretzels and beer cheese (yum) and enjoyed the "some kind of wonderful" beer. I found the staff to be friendly and our wait for food and drink wasn't long since we ordered at the bar (as the signs directed). My friends enjoyed our visit as well. I hadn't intended to leave a review (I don't usually) but I read the one by "Walt Gardiner of Wichita" and it was so rude and vulgar, I just had to be a more representative, Kansas City, MISSOURI voice. My friends and I will be back : )

The atmosphere was laid back and the beers were really good, but the bartender wasn't even behind the bar for most of the time that we were there.

As with many new breweries they have some growing pains but that's okay. The Porter, Golden, and Scotch Ale are decent starts but the menu is a bit uneven. Food is okay and certainly adds value, but the apps are safer bet right now. I like the idea behind some of the tables but they're a bit too...natural, and they don't offer enough space for food and drink. Calibration has a lot of promise, so give it both a chance and patience.

The service here is a joke. It took at least 30 minutes to get a beer after ordering it. And the second round, for those who were desperate enough to try for one, took another 30 minutes for 1 beer and 2 waters. The only saving grace here is the food. I would definitely come back if I have 3 hours to waste sitting around waiting or if they actually get some servers who know how to do their job.

Great atmosphere. The food was tasty and out very quick. There were a couple of really good beers and some we're middle of the road. It was a nice place to stop and visit, had activities to sit outside and do.

Came in for my first time a few nights ago! Jessica took such great care of my family and I!!! Will be back soon!!!!!

Good food, good beer, not too busy for that area.

If I had the option for zero that is what they deserve. Came in to KC from Wichita for the weekend. Stopped in with my family for dinner. We walked in (we’re not greeted mind you). My wife and I sat down with our kids. What we were greeted with was this heifer making a comment about that everybody that sits at the table we sat at just has to have kids with them she said from now on this was the baby table. Meanwhile as we patiently waited, I made eye contact with both (heifer and some tall beanpole lookin mofo). I then heard “ well I guess I’ll go get them” said beanpole. He walked into the back never to be see again. 2 separate groups of people walked in and were greeted and served. Seems like a place for butt buddies. My wife and I enjoy and seek out these breweries whenever we travel and were disappointed. We packed up our starving kids and walked out and not a word said from the heifer or beanpole.

I love this place great vibe good food and beer I love coming here to eat and drink will visit again

Imagine a joint where all those guys at the water cooler who have offered you their crummy home brew come together to establish a brew line up. On a positive note, the ciders were good. Service was ..... weird.

This place is great. The beer was good and the food was awesome! Good atmosphere and great staff. If you are looking for something new come check it out!

The bartender was great. Good service and very friendly. Also got to meet and talk with the chef, was cool to talk about the food he cooks. We have been here before and each time was the same experience, they remembered us and made it a point to come over and say hi.

Beer was decent. Other than the kitchen getting closed after ordering without saying anything was a downside. But that was due to understaffing during a busy holiday. All in all don't discount them out.
